You can request circulating library materials be delivered to your home campus from the Daytona or Deland Libraries by using the “Request” feature which is built into the Online Catalog.
When you locate an item in the catalog which you would like to order, Click on the underlined campus location. For example DaytonaState/Daytona .
This will take you to the holdings screen which will include some more information about the item. Under the blue bar at the bottom of the screen you will see the status of the item under “Due”. This status might be “Available”, “Non-Request”, “Lost”, or a Due Date. Only those items listed “Available” can be requested.
You will also see an underlined “Request” link next to the status in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Click on this link to order the item.
You will need to logon by choosing Daytona State as your college and by entering your Student ID number as your borrower ID and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number as your PIN.
Once you have the request screen, simply choose the campus you would like the item delivered to and Click “Go”. Your request is sent!
It will take approximately 2 to 3 days for your item to be delivered. You will pick it up at the Academic Support Center at your campus (you may also return it there). If you have any questions about this process or the status of an order, please call the Circulation Desk at (386) 506-3055. Please do not ask the Academic Support Center staff about your order since they are merely a pick-up and drop-off point for these materials.
